Teaching assistant in the Department of Physics

Thank you for your interest in working as a student tutor in the Department of Physics. The application period for the winter semester is from June to July, and the application period for the summer semester is from January to February.

During the winter semester, the following courses take place alongside lectures:

  • Experimental Physics 1 and 3
  • Introduction to Scientific Programming
  • Introduction to Neural Networks

During the summer semester, the following courses take place alongside lectures:

  • Experimental Physics 2 and 4
  • Experimental Physics 2 for Chemists
  • General and Inorganic Chemistry for Physics and TUM-BWL students

During the lecture-free period, the intensive courses take place as one-week block courses. The application period for the winter semester intensive courses Analysis 1, Experimental Physics 1, and Linear Algebra (March) is in December. The application period for the summer semester intensive courses Analysis 2, Experimental Physics 2, and Theoretical Physics 1 (September) is in May.

Applications for Theoretical Physics should be sent to the current exercise instructor (ut@nat.tum.de).
