   Please do not use any other email addresses for any administrative inquiries about your Ph.D. project at NAT. 
   
It is not helpful to address requests to personal email addresses or the old ones from the former departments or different ones, which are reseved for student matters or other things etc.

It is also not neccessary to send the same email (or the same question) to different addresses.

Dean's office / doctoral studies
==================================

The TUM School of Natural Sciences, represented by the Dean's office is your academic home as a doctoral researcher.
It is the degree awarding institution for your doctoral degree at NAT.
You apply for entry into the list of doctoral candidates, perform your academic research project.
You submit your thesis to the NAT-School, where it is evaluated and your doctoral examination is performed.

Graduate Center of Natural Sciences
==========================================

The Graduate Center of Natural Sciences together with the TUM Graduate School
supplements the proven individual doctorate with elements that support doctoral candidates and their supervisors.
That includes structural measures and qualification offerings based on the best international standards,
for instance the early conclusion of a :ref:`supervision agreement <supervision-agreement>`,
regular feedback meetings,
:ref:`subject-specific courses <subject-related>` as well as offerings for interdisciplinary qualification and
:ref:`financial support for research stays abroad <internationalization>`.
