Application and frequently asked questions

The TUM Graduate School provides funds for doctoral candidates so that they can attend international conferences and research visits abroad.

The funds are offered according to different provisions. These provisions are directed to different groups of people and have slightly different conditions. Please read the following list from top to bottom in its entirety until you find a possibility that matches your case.

Keep in mind that if you are not employed by TUM (e. g. stipend holders) travel expenses can only be reimbursed after completing the trip. TUM staff members may apply for partial reimbursment already before the trip according to the regulations – in this case the application form given below needs to be added to both of the applications for reimbursment.
