Master's Degree Program in Chemical Engineering
The Master's program in Chemical Engineering (CIW) is an interdisciplinary program offered by the School of Natural Sciences in conjunction with the School of Engineering and Design. The CIW Master's degree provides a highly sought-after professional qualification in the industry. It combines the application-oriented approach of engineering with the more fundamental perspective of natural sciences. Within the Master's program, you can choose to specialize in chemical process engineering, bioprocess engineering, or nanoprocess engineering through a choice of concentration. Alternatively, you can select modules from all three areas to gain cross-disciplinary expertise across multiple fields.
As a graduate, you will possess in-depth knowledge in both natural and engineering sciences. This enables you to independently analyze and address interdisciplinary issues at the interfaces between disciplines. Graduates of the Master's program in Chemical Engineering have diverse career prospects, including opportunities in industry, research institutes, universities, and also in the public sector.
