Lab Courses

Practical laboratory training is a central component of the degree programs at the TUM School of Natural Sciences. It enables our students to translate scientific theory into experimental practice – an essential foundation for a solid education in the natural sciences.

The behavior of nature can only be understood through observation. An experiment is such an observation under defined conditions. The aim of our laboratory courses is to teach students how to experiment correctly and effectively. This is made possible thanks to the dedicated efforts and expertise of our internship management team, which ensures smooth operations with great commitment.

Chemistry Lab Courses

Practical courses take place partly during the semester and partly during semester breaks in the study programs of chemistry, chemical engineering, biochemistry, and food chemistry. Details regarding the contents can be found in the curricula of the respective programs.
