Would you like to get to know another country and expand your professional, linguistic and intercultural skills? With exchange programs like Erasmus+, SEMP, TUMexchange, IROP and ATHENS, we enable about 150 students per year to spend an unforgettable stay abroad. Take advantage of the benefits of the exchange programs and gain valuable study experience abroad.

Students of the TUM School of Natural Sciences can apply for an Erasmus+ SMS, SEMP, or IROP mobility at one of our partner universities in Europe for the academic year 2027/28 (Winter 2027/28 and Summer 2028) from December 1, 2026, to January 12, 2026 (12:00 pm). For Erasmus SMP applications, there is a rolling deadline: depending on the destination, applications must be submitted no later than two months to four weeks before the start of the internship.

 

TUM Global & Alumni Office: Info Sessions on Erasmus+ and TUMexchange

The Erasmus+ info session for the academic year 2027/28 will take place on November 12, 2026, in German and English. Students will receive comprehensive information about the Erasmus+ program. The access link will be published on the Erasmus website in due time.

For the TUMexchange Program, weekly Q&A sessions are offered between 21 September and 29 September 2026.

Application period for the TUMexchange Program:
20-29 October 2026, daily at 10:00 a.m.
