Infoevents about studying abroad
Would you like to get to know another country and expand your professional, linguistic and intercultural skills? With exchange programs like Erasmus+, SEMP, TUMexchange, IROP and ATHENS, we enable about 150 students per year to spend an unforgettable stay abroad. Take advantage of the benefits of the exchange programs and gain valuable study experience abroad.
NAT students can apply from December 1, 2023 to January 15, 2025 (12 noon) for an Erasmus+ SMS, SEMP or IROP stay abroad at one of our partner universities in Europe during the academic year 2025/26 (w2025/26 and s2026). Applications for Erasmus SMP have a rolling deadline: depending on the destination, at the latest two months to four weeks prior to the start of the internship.
From October 29 to November 29, 2024, TUM students can register for online courses at the EuroTeQ partners, which will take place in the summer semester 2025. The course list and registration details are available on the TUM Global website for the EuroTeQ course catalog -- e.g. Complex Systems and Self-Organization, Molecular and Chemical Kinetic Modeling, Sensors and Nanotechnology.
The TUM Global & Alumni Office informs about organizational aspects, as well as criteria and to dos for the Erasmus+ grant:
- Tuesday, 12 November 2024, 16-17h in German - Zoom-Link, Passcode
- Wednesday, 13 November 2024, 16-17h in English - Zoom-Link, Passcode
On Monday, 18 November 2024, 11-14h there is in Garching (Magistrale MI) an information stand on EuroTeQ and the course catalog.
On Thursday, 21 November 2024 the first EuroTeQ Day will take place to experience the EuroTeQ Alliance up close. All EuroTeQ partners will contribute to an online part with presentations and workshops, which will be streamed live. You can also look forward to an exciting program on site at the main campus (matriculation hall), with plenty of information, games and challenges. As a highlight, you can win an Interrail ticket to explore Europe. More information can be found on the TUM Global webseite for EuroTeQ Day.
The School informs about subject-specific aspects of an Erasmus+, SEMP or IROP stay abroad within our study programs:
- Friday, 22 November 2024, 15-17 h in English - Emil Erlenmeyer Auditorium/Science Cinema (CH 26411), Campus Garching
Besides this information, some of our former outgoings will share their experience abroad with you. Right after the infoevent, there will be an informal get-together, you are welcome to stay for a drink ;-)
The slides from this infoevent are available here, and the ones of the experience reports will follow soon.
On our NAT-School blog, you can find news on exchange programs, international events, special offerings from our partner universities and much more.
