Going Abroad: Physics

Either if you want to go abroad for one or two semesters, pursue a joint degree with another institution, do an internship for six months or take a one-week intensive course – at the TUM we support you and offer you a possibility for each of these cases!

To have a successful experience abroad and make the most of it, you have to start preparing it on time. This applies on one side to learning the language, but also for your application. Consider that for stays outside Europe, you should start informing yourself at least 1,5 to 2 years in advance!

  • Thu. 17.10.2024 2 pm, Info session "Study abroad at the University of California (UC Irvine)"
  • Tue. 22.10.2024 4 pm, Info session "Exchange study at the University of Queensland (UQ)"
  • September 23 to October 31, General online consultation: Collect your questions about your preferred exchange destination and join one of the online advising sessions with the respective program manager. Check out first which program manager is responsible for the exchange destination of your choice. No registration is needed for the online advising sessions. Please read the information on the TUMexchange website very carefully beforehand.

ERASMUS+, SEMP, EuroTeQ and IROP Program (Europe):

  • The TUM Global & Alumni Office informs about organizational aspects, as well as criteria and to dos for the Erasmus+ grant:
  • On Wednesday, 18 November 2024, 11-14h there will be an information stand on EuroTeQ and the course catalog in Garching (Magistrale MI).
  • On Tuesday, 21 November 2024 the first EuroTeQ Day will take place, with plenty of information, games and challenges. More information can be found on the TUM Global webseite for EuroTeQ Day.
