Our German-taught program provides our students with a very strong theoretical and experimental basis in physics, enabling them to continue their education in one of our consecutive Master programs in physics or our offer of interdisciplinary Master’s programs. In the Master programs, students are led to state-of-the-art research on current topics. Beyond this option, our Bachelor program also highly qualifies students for many other disciplines at TUM.
Application
Our Bachelor program in physics has only winter intake. The application period is from mid-May to September 15, although we strongly recommend completing the application in July. Further information can be found on the application and admission page for our Bachelor program in physics.
Curriculum in the B.Sc. Physics
The currciulum of the B.Sc. Physics consists of a common fundamentals phase during the first four semesters, including the Fundamentals and Orientation Examination (GOP), followed by concentration studies with individual specialization in the last year.
