Announcement: Seminars by Dr. Grote-Westrick on Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Industrial Project Management, Quality Management, Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and NEW: Pharmaceutical Application Interview Training
The topics are naturally focused on pharma, but the principles of GMP and QM also apply to other areas of the chemical industry. The language is either German or English.
All courses in 2026 are online and distributed over the whole year.

Content of “Project-Management in the pharma industry”
The workshop illustrates all departments within pharmaceutical companies which offer interest-ing positions for life scientists. What is their daily business, what can be beneficial for job preparation? Important keywords will be addressed such as GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), Pharma Risk Management, Process Validation and Quality Control.
INTERACTIVE PART: participants actively elaborate a concept for a GMP compliant drug within a fictional company, which will be audited by participants in a simulated FDA inspection.
The workshop will effectively prepare student for jobs in pharmaceutical industry focusing on quality management.

Application of GMP in pharmaceutical companies
Development, production and testing of drugs
Learning how to audit and being audited
Content of “Biotech Quality Manager - Training and Insights”
The workshop focuses on all aspects of pharmaceutical quality management. This area represents an entrance opportunity for life scientists into industry. Quality managers´ daily business will be explained based on current regulations and laws which are obligatory to be implemented into industrial companies. Within the workshop several case studies will be used to offer in-sights into quality manager tasks and duties.
INTERACTIVE PART: participants will slip into the role of FDA inspectors who will evaluate gradings of real FDA findings. As is real life inspectors must justify their decisions based on cur-rent guidelines. To challenge this part, the docent will participate here and takes over the role of inspected company.
The workshop will effectively prepare students for daily business of quality managers and auditors since this position represents most frequently used access opportunity in industry.
